Hello Tom -

CA>>> At one time I was seriously thinking about buying a used
CA>>> stake truck to drive back and forth to work to stop the
CA>>> little rice-burners from cutting me off all the way there
CA>>> and back. Even the terrible gas mileage would've been
CA>>> worth having dual wheels and the size.

->> That's one of the enjoyable aspects of driving my truck,
->> when I have reason to... :-)

TW> I only have a small truck, Chev S10, so I don't feel very
TW> "warm and fuzzy" on hte California Freeways in it. BUY I
TW> have had similar thought as Charles. Driving a Stake Bed
TW> truck. One with Good Brakes can really get the Attention of
TW> Tailgaters also as they see that bed rappidly heading for
TW> their Winshield!!

Hard for drivers to ignore the rattling of the side gates too.
They know you are out there and avoid you. :-)

Odd thing is I was already driving a 5000 pound Cordoba with
the 400ci engine and the rice burners didn't care?
