How many votes did he receive?  None.  How do I know this?
No votes were cast by anybody.  That is according to the
election coordinator, and yourself.  And I do not believe
either of those two fine gentlemen are lying.

Everybody's vote was counted, so why should anybody object?
I mean, zero ballots cast equals zero ballots counted.

For a candidate to win an election, at least one ballot
must be cast in his/her favor.  If nobody casts a ballot
in an election, there can be no "winner".

As far as I know, he has not resigned.
