No argument there, but I use it all the time, and it's fast enough for me.
The people getting the mail still get it in a timely fashion, and I can't
read faster than the program runs.  I leave it running all the time the
laptop is up and running, and speed is not an issue.  I like the feature
set it's flexibility.  Looks don't concern me, it's only mail, and text on
a screen.
