I just had a failed call to a Melbourne system, symptom was
28800 no EC.  I couldn't figure out how to force my modem to
operate at 14400, so what I did instead was change my baud
rate to 19200 in the comms software.  Thanks to autobaud I 
don't need to go and do an AT&W.  One more reason why autobaud
should be a feature implemented in ALL modems, not just all
non-USR modems.  BFN.  Paul.
