ASP is the lockin, I don't know of any way to run asp pages on a unix
platform, that's why php exists.. I like asp way better, it's more secure.
(let me rephrase that, it has a better security record).

Why? I'll just keep the old NT servers and add new unix ones if I decide to
move. Web customers are fickle, I can pick up new ones who want php or perl
quite easily. For example all those interland customers who's websites are
still being compromised daily...

Bad practice, it's not safe. At a minimum they have probably exposed your
site to every other website owner on the box where your site is hosted.
(try and make perl so it's limited to just one site sometime, it's
impossible).
