On the 23/02/96 23:51, Paul waffled to Dieter..

 Hello Paul,

DM> I'm lucky if I can connect at all.

PE> You haven't reported in about the Netcomm BBS yet.

Logged in twice, this evening, using the SE's factory default
settings, with extended result codes. Went perfectly.

 PE> I am thinking
PE> of suggesting to Netcomm that they come over to my place and do
PE> some REAL testing of their modems. I am happy to provide my
PE> residence as a test bed FREE OF CHARGE even. BFN. Paul.

 Good luck then....

BTW, the second 2400 connect I had with TML was too short to
provide any feedback re errors, but yesterday's poll had similar
symptoms as the first 2400 poll, i.e frequent CRC's and Data
 Subpacket too Long.

When I upload this packet, I will leave it at the same settings
that I connected with Netcomm, and if that is unsuccessful, I
will try at 4800, then at 2400 baud, locked.

 Dieter
