You can't run both LAPS and MPTS together. One or the other. Warp3 connect 
and Warp Server 4 and later use MPTS. Older lan requester/server used LAPS. 
The guess I can venture is that you have two different systems vieing for 
control of the network hardware. Try getting rid of all network stuff and 
reinstall MPTS and feed it the most recent Lan Server/requester driver from 
the companies web site you can locate. Good luck...
