Sometimes I think that some of that train handling skill they must be born 
with.  
I have a friend who works for the Wisconsin Central, has previously worked 
for 
the B&O and a couple of shortlines, none with any regular passenger 
service,and 
yet he can handle a big freight just like a passenger train. He got picked 
for 
one of the WC excursions for their brass, and got rave reviews. And yet, 
there 
are engineers who have run passenger service for years that still can't seem 
to 
give a smooth ride.

thank you...along these lines...Here In Stockton we are seeing GP40's in
brand new paint, numbered in the 2500 series, anyone know if these are
assimilated SP units??? The brand new paint is UP obviously...thanks
