I'm pretty sure it does. Normally Windows (and 95) use the UMB for their own
code. In System.ini under [386ENH], EMMexclude=xxxx-yyyy (where xxxx and yyyy
are the start and end of the block you want to exclude), or something like
that, will keep windows from putting its own code in that area, and that area
will be available for every dos session.
