Ok, I'm sending you a new btp.exe which will make the delay before
retrying go to 4 seconds.  That will do for a start, and hopefully
then the problem will be "takes 3.5 seconds for a reply" instead
of "possibly losing my x'f1'".  BFN.  Paul.
