Well i wanted to tell every one about my new Pets.. I FINALLY got one
of my dream birds..I came across a lady that was selling Budgies.. and
new she had a few Parrots.. i went to go Purchase the budgies. and found
out that she was kin folk by marrage and that she had a BG and a Blue
Front Amazon that she had been neglecting due to time.. and the birds
have not ben out of the cages in almost a year.
Well after talking to her and playing with the birds.. i fell in love
but knew i could not afford them.. but the lady kept saying how much she
would like to find a good home for her babies.. after talking for a
wile.. she decided as well as I that i could take as long as i needed to
pay for the birds..and a real good Price at that.. so now i have 2 new
Lovable babies.. witch are both 3 years old..Tame and Talking.
The only Problem is the Blue Front.. it is a womens only Bird.. Witch is
good for my wife..but it will scream when we want to fool with it and
talk with her... How do i regain the trust of this bird were it knows it
will be free to come in and out of its cage and be loved so much?
I am about the Proudest person in Decatur AL at this moment.. ..
i would like to talk to other BG owners.. and see what kinds of diff
things they teach there birds.. i was playing Ball with mine a littel
wile ago.. and he will also play dead if you point at him and say "bang"
he rolls over on his back but i have only seen this with the previous
owner.. i have not yet had the thrill of getting him to do it for me or
my wife..
Lets here from you if you have BG'S.. i would like to know the best way
to train my new found friend!!!!!
