I too installed FP 17 and ORexx from devcon Nø10, and experimented the same problems.
 
After the "upgrade" many sys errors and also a strange behavior of some
VX-REXX functions, like VRMessage (dialog windows always too small).

I hope in another fixpack capable to solve these problems.
