Don't know how, don't know why, but I do know it's screwed up.
I wrote a phone dialing program that I have been using for months...
until it just gone screwy. For some reason, any AT command (like
"AT") causes PB to rudely abort with a meaningless 244 error. (Says
it needs a library though it is ALL+) Also the pgm-ctr = 994593
(which is over ten times the EXEs size) This prog worked just fine,
and now I can't send any AT commands.
Furthurmore, as some of you may know, I use my IDE to compile my
progs, then I can run them with a routine that intercepts error
aborts so the error and line number can be passed back to my IDE. The
error handler doesn't get the call: The program just aborts.
Apparently, the library error bypasses this.
And, here's the spoiler. After one of these rude exits, even though I
can operate my IDE just fine. I can not exit back to W95. Any attempt
to do so will crash the system and an ALT-CLT-DEL doesn't work.
Hitting the reset button is the only way out at this point. What a
time waster. Whatever this problem is, it corrupts W95 in a big way.
And, I haven't a clue as to where to begin looking.
Telix works fine. A short PB program using AT commands still works. I
make subtle changes to these programs and include files all the time,
I have no idea what subtle change affected PBs inconsistent and buggy
behavior.
Any ideas or comments?
