subject: Debating AUDIO

Hi All,
Remember that we are here to discuss AUDIO in all of it's implementations
here , not preferences a ersonalities. We have folks in here with a
lifetime of experience in audio, music and related industries down to those
wondering what a volume control does. In my messages, I try to make the
points as simply as can be done so as not to dazzle those new to AUDIO with
useless technical BS. Sometimes this isn't possible though and requires a
little math and heavy concepts to get the point made. The KISS method (Keep
It Simple Stupid) is usually the best approach here to reach most of those i
the echo, with technical elaboration as needed to fine tune
eneralizations".
A couple of recent messages are showing lack of courtesy and respect for
others, not just disagreeing with someone's statements or opinions almost to
the point of getting out of hand. Those involved know who you are, both being
long time contributers. I would hate to have to take any action on this,
so please take all flames and other heated discussions other than AUDIO
tonetmail, Consider this a warning and mellow out a little!
This is something that won't be tolerated here, where we have a reputation of
being helpful AND friendly as well as informative and a place where we can
have a little fun once in a while. I'd like to see it stay that way, even
though it seems to be a contradiction within Fidonet! Please help!
Bonnie Goodwin
Moderator-AUDIO
P.S. For those that don't know, I normally sign messages as Bonnie *:>,
which I've been doing for at least a decade and a half of online usage. When
I sign a message as I did above, it's the moderator talking and being as
serious as a heart atteck!
 Thanks, End of sermon!
