You don't state how you want to format the file, which would make a
difference.
One item per line?
Separated by spaces?
Other?
In any event, you can either use
x=pos(';',string)
p1 = left(string,x-1)
string=substr(string,x+1)
looping until you don't have any more ;
or iterate a parse statement of the form:
parse var string p1 ';' string
