Welcome back.........;-) I noticed some (mainly Web) sites only returned
about 2 hours ago (UTC+12 here), so it seems like it ran for more than 29
hours in a few places...

So who do YOU blame for the problem?....;-) I heard a comment that the
power problem happened too close to when the MS Blaster virus got loose for
it to be unrelated. Any likelyhood there may have been some truth there? 
And to keep things on topic, on a global basis, I note that the volume of
Fido traffic here dipped by less than 5%, or similar to normal daily
fluctuations, so it seems no major mail movers (as far as I am concered)
were to affected.
