Thanks to the people who have helped!!
a 14.4 modem would be fast enough for me as I'm using an amiga
computer, and on the freenet that doesn't have graphics.
I think I'll skip the wang modem, little to expensive ($45 US).
I found a 14.4 modem for $30 Canadian. That's fair isnt it?
