I have not used the Tempo one myself but it is a very popular unit. (Or at
least it used to be.) I'm using a set of Drake Twins (T4X & R4A) That were
probably new in late 1950s or early 1960s. Not the latest thing out but a
fine rig.
I don't do much DX but I remember UR2s around Estonia. Is that your QTH? Do
you do any CW? I still run some from time to time. Perhaps I'll run into you
some time; or see you on the Internet (gwreece@juno.com).
The Chattanooga Amateur Radio Club (our local club) is at

Drop in some time.
