G'day david,
Replying to a message of david begley to Jeff Green on 25-02-96:
JG>> SmartModem V.32bis M7F v1.04 T7 098E (C) NetComm 1991
db> Mine's "1.04 T7 098FTest". Hmm, maybe I should .. wadda ya think
db> Jeff, try this on your M7F: "AT #V0", followed by
"AT I5" (must be
db> two separate commands). My output is:
db> T R9696 A Aust 11.06Mhz
db> SECURITY DES V42BIS LL REM_COM HELP SYNC DUMB FAX
db> !LOCK 11_BIT_CHAR V32_14.4K V32_12K
Here's my output after I'd changed my settings to what you had below.
>>
T R9696 A Aust 11.06Mhz
SECURITY DES V42BIS LL REM_COM HELP SYNC DUMB FAX
!LOCK 11_BIT_CHAR V32_14.4K V32_12K
>>
Looks the same to me.
db> How's that Paul - enough "data" for you? Jeff, these are my NVRAM
db> settings for the M7F (after AT&F. of course):
db> AT B15 T &A1 &D3 &K3 &T5
db> AT \V1
db> AT %C0 %E2 #B1 #C1
db> AT S0=0 S6=5 S7=30 S11=70
Ok, I set them up and called the IBM BBS and it all went fine. I've now
shoved 'em into nvram and will see what happens with TML over the next few
days.
Many thanks for doing that.
