Hello Alan,
Two dyxlexic sysops were overheard having a conversation
in another chat echo -
-=begin quote=-
EC>No protest has been filed, therefore the preliminary result
EC>becomes final.
EC>
EC>Allen Prunty of 1:2320/100 is the winner of the 2016 moderator
EC>election.
EC>
EC>Alan Ianson, can you please confirm?
Confirmed, Allen Prunty is the winner.
-=end quote=-
Can either the election coordinator or yourself tell me
how many votes this Allen character received in what has
been described at "the 2016 moderator election"?
I counted no votes.
What constitutes a "winner"?
I had always thought a "winner" had to have more votes
than some other candidate or candidates. Or at least a
plurality of votes, depending on the rules of the game.
But an election with only one candidate, who received
no votes? How does that make him a "winner" of anything?
