I put Ken's new version of Tis the Season Xmas into distribution for him
the other day.
If you or anyone else are unable to get it from Jacques' site, it is a quick download
from any of the following sources.

1) The Camelot LordNews FDN - http://www.filegate.net/camelot/lordfile/

2) The Lord IGMs page on my web-site, or the Kiteria's Korner site's IGMs page,
Or my Revamped Trentsoft IGms page on the web-site, and the Lord Apps page
on my two personal web-sites all have the IGM listed.
http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/camelot6.htm
http://www.fidotel.com/public/kiteria/kit-igms.htm
http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/igm-page.htm
http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/lordapps.htm

3) The IGM is posted in the Lord_IGMs directory on the Fidotel.com BBS in
its Lord Archives section. http://www.fidotel.com

4) It is posted on the Nightfall Games Lord site:
http://www.nightfallgames.com/files/
-- see the Lord IGMs directory. To access files quickly, use the QuickBrowse
option
which is listed at the Bottom of the left frame's menu.

5) It is posted on the Lord IGMs Project on Lloyd Hannesson's site.
http://www.dasme.org/techn/lord1igm.php

And as Ken stated, he will send the igm to people via email, and he has put it up
on Jacques Shake's site. So no one should have any problem getting the igm.

For those who don't have it yet, you can get the current official version
of Turgeon's
House from any of those sources I've listed, which is version 3.40.

I'm completing work on the new Violet's Cottage II igm, which is based on Trevor
Herndon's original igm, and on the current update of Hiding in the Shadows. Those
will be released in a few days.

I am doing fine-tuning work on the setup programs for The Gateway, Lord
Cavern, Forest Outhouse, and Outlands Tavern. Neither, except for the
Tavern, needs any
new work on the IGM executable itself. With exception of Tavern, I will re-release
the other three RHP-based igms along with RHP Toolkit either in late December or
in January. I've not had any good ideas yet for the Tavern's Red Dragon Cocktail
drink, so the Tavern will stay in beta until that is taken care of.

My newest IGM, Kiteria's Lord Bank, is out of debug log phase, and may be released
by the end of this month. It allows unlimited access, at this time, to a 2 Billion
Gold bank account and to a 1 Million Gems bank account, for all players. There is
no code to allow someone to rob the bank, so everyone's accounts are
completely safe. The igm is dedicated to Suzanne Franklin, like some of my
other igms are.

To obtain the current betas, contact me via email at either
gtidmore{at}hiwaay.net or at ktidmore{at}bellsouth.net. The online copies of the
beta archives are not always
up-to-date, and those are accessible from the Lord Links page and LORD IGMs Page.
Along with the http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/igm-beta.htm web-page.

I've not been real into newsletter writing this year, so that is the main reason the
newsletter has stayed inactive a lot. The other reason is the lack of Lord
programming
activity by more than 3-5 people during the entire year. I guess most of the Lord
authors who are around are staying too busy to do much game programming.

I hope everyone is doing well, and that you all have a wonderful and Merry Christmas
this month.

I've discussed the lack of Wt-lord activity before. Janet Terry has disappeared, as
best as I can tell. Joseph Watson is the only wt-lord author who has
released anything
for WT-lord this year. Frank Rauhaff is the only other wt-lord author that
is active,
and he is having to do his own igms testing, which is a slow process. To the best of
my knowledge, there are no other tournament lord authors around, as to igms.

And Lord2 activity has completely died, what with Max Larivee vanishing
again, and Joel Gathercole has disappeared as well it seems. As some of
you may know, Joel lost his lordii.net domain and the last time I heard
from him he was going to see
about getting back online at some point. But he has not done so yet. There may be
zero future for Lord II if people can not encourage its authors to work on
their programs.

Side Note: If anyone is looking for a new igm project, I am considering
letting someone
else take over support and development of the Realm of Lore igm. So if you
are interested, contact me via email. Donald.
