It's smoke flavoring in a bottle, like vanilla extract.  You'd find it near 
the Maggi and Gravy Master or equivalent in a supermarket, generally.  It's 
also found near the bottled barbecue sauce in some places.  Small brown 
bottle; I see blue labels but the Canadian ones may be different.  
People use it to make food taste like it was cooked over charcoal, even 
though they did it in the microwave.:-)
