Assuming you're using a script to do your mail chores, here's a snippet from
my mailrun script:
FileExist "C:\OLX\REP\DW.REP",UPAREP                ;see if there's a packet
                                                    ;to send
IF UPAREP                                           ;if there is...
                Put "u",                            ;
                Waitfor "tocol (Z=Zmodem, ?=List)"  ;then send it.
                Put "z",                            ;
                Send "z","C:\OLX\REP\DW.REP"        ;
                        IF SUCCESS                  ;see if the upload was
                        DELETE "C:\OLX\REP\DW.REP"  ;successful, and delete
                        ENDIF                       ;the packet if it was.
