I'm not sure.    I had both the Developer and C/S editions of Delphi 2.  
It turned out that I rarely used the C/S features.  My clients that needed 
C/S work, got the C/S drivers themselves, and Delphi Developer did the rest.

Yes, and so is the online help.  It's not perfect, but it is much better.  
For example, the class descriptions include information about which methods 
come from which descendents.
I hardly use the printed docs, myself.  But ehy do include a two-volume VCL 
reference manual.
