I just received your star block in the mail yesterday!
What a nice star  - and you hand-stitched it together  :)
I do like the ribbon star pattern and I'm glad you sent
the pattern pieces to make the templates.  I may be making
more of your stars but first I've got some other UFO's to
finish.  One is a Pass Around Quilt which was started in
1994.  It was an exchange on the Sew and Quilt echo.  There
were 5 of us in a group and each put a border on each others
quilt center.  I had mine sitting for a while and now decided
to quilt it.  I am machine quilting this and a baby quilt
for a new niece just born last week.  So it's always nice to
receive another star to put into the star sampler that I will
finish later - maybe a winter project. :)
