1237cf1b418c tech Hello Tom - --8<--cut TW> In my Naval Career I did notice that Aviators seemed to TW> Favor Motorcycles or Sports Cars. And the AH was another TW> vehicle I lusted after in my Younger years. Since I have TW> matured quite a bit I have become FAR more Practical about TW> my Transportation. It was mentioned in a biography of Billy Bishop (Ace of Aces) that pilots had dry shoes and warm meals with real beds to sleep in during wartime. No mud, foxholes, or rations for them. They were considered the 'rich kids' of the military and behaved accordingly. Not a pilot here but at 19 I had gotten my choices down to an AH MK III and an MGB. I chose the MGB. The MGB was winning most of the races in it's class at that time and it was quite an experience to drive a _real_ sports car at speed. :-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
