Mark doesn't believe in remedial diets at all.  He would not believe,
for instance, that I watched my grandmother kill herself on a diet that
included liberal amounts of ham and bacon fat with sweets daily.  She
died of complications from her cerebral arteriosclerosis.
Her son, my father, had massive coronaries and the last one got him.
His diet wasn't much better.
I do believe that my osteoarthritis is directly connected to what I eat
and I have not been able to identify and get rid of all of the foods I
should leave alone.  They keep changing as I age.
