bake is a Better mAKE
in a matter of minutes you have the first bake file done and your project
is compiled. following files usually take about 20 seconds each.
It certainly lacks the power of make, but for most projects it's largely
sufficient (and I should say all of mine anyway. Never used make again
since I found out about bake).
