I was surprised to read that at least one politician in
Washington has gone on record that _his_ state needs money for
education, infrastructure, and better roads as much as or more
than Iragi's need these things and he wonders why they should
come _first_. 

Almost made me cry. 

Our country is in a pitiful state and more confused each year
it seems.
