Sorry, I thought that was a known from the subject.  Rereading it out
of the context of VisualAge Max's note may make no sense. ICLUI (IBM
C++ Language User Interface) is the Open Class library.  Although I am
uneasy when the comparison is made, I guess you could call it the IBM
equivalent of Microsoft Foundation Class library, although supporting
more platforms.  This is from the original VACPP Ivory Letter (release
notice).

Max was beat up when ICUI was released with less than adequate usage
documentation and no source code and then beat up again for the above
prices last year. She had been working to get it reduced since then.
