RS>Correct and also hold the DU vanity call DU1A when I operate from the
RS>Philippines. It will expire at the end of Feb and will have to be
RS>renewed on the next trip.
I was in PI during WWII (when one could be slugging along in mud
while choking with the dust at times 8-) and came away with a
considerable admiration for the Phillipino peaples.
RS>Speaking about Zoom modems: when I installed the modem (internal) I
RS>never installed the "software" which came with it called commit. The
RS>modem's working fine but I wonder if there is one file on that disk
RS>which would make it run better? What happens if you only use the files
RS>in your comm program and never load the commit program?
I tried Commit some while ago. I doubt it will anything to your modem's
capacities. The Procom 3 should do everything possible for you.
73s, de Ack.
