Hi, Dave.
DJ> First, I am a fan of Nords art, & this issues work by him fitted
DJ> the characters well.I liked the use of kang, as well as the return
DJ> of wesly.
I thought the art was good too. I'm afraid that was about as
much of a compliment as I can give this book (just as it was the only
compliment I could give the "Star Trek/X-Men" one-shot).
DJ> What didnt I like? The ending that should have wraped it up, all
DJ> nice & neat!
Yes, yes and yes again! I was soooo pissed off when I got to the
end of that comic and learned that it leads into a TNG/X-Men novel.

I still think that these Star Trek/Marvel Universe crossovers
don't work. The world of super-heroes just doesn't lend itself well
to Star Trek, IMO. In the end, the only reason I bought this comic
was 'cuz I've managed to get completely caught up on all the DC,
Marvel & Malibu Star Trek series... and, after spending all that time
& money achieving that, I wasn't NOT going to buy it...
DJ> Yes, time for yet another trek/x-men team up!!Let me guess,
DJ> voyager or deep space nine!
Marvel isn't going to be publishing anymore Star Trek comics
after the "Star Trek: Untold Voyages" and "Star Trek: Voyager -
Splashdown" mini-series finish off. The way I hear it (from a comic
store owner), Marvel will not only NOT publish anymore Trek series...
they're giving up the license to the characters too. I guess
Paramount will soon be looking to a new publisher to produce Star Trek
comics. Mercifully (IMO), that also means no more Trek/Marvel
Universe team-ups too (whew!...).
Talk to you later.
David
