 It's up to the full 8 weeks now. Trying to be real soldiers. One
 of the main reasons I joined the Air Force was basic was 6
 weeks. I figured, Basic is hell, so why put up with two extra
 weeks of hell.

 Not so good once you got an idea of what it's really like. It
 would have been 8 weeks of hell vs 6 weeks of hell and chicken
 s**t.

 For that I paid with an extra year of service, at the least.
