Is the "double-send", therefore, necessarily a bug? A mean,
these Fidonet protocols were designed with a specific FSM and timing prior
to 9,600bps being popular, let along 28.8Kbps. Yes, I know the latter
should be faster, but perhaps there is some latency, a small issue of EC
and/or compression that creeps in at this speed to throw the FSM timing off
by just enough to force a second send?
Are you checking your mods to BTPE against the original FTSC specs, or has
timing been omitted from the YooHoo stuff?
Just a thought.
