That's when I became aware of it in the instance of a ZC, Ward Dossche.

Yeup. Follows is a netmail from Ward Dossche, when RIN-ION nodes were
first listed in Z1.

Dear Brenda,
It seems Roy Witt is operating a node with an "-unpublished-" entry in the
region-portion of region-10 of zone-1. That's under your jurisdiction.
This is, in fact, a "Pvt"-entry as it cannot be dialed.
According to FTS-0005 there cannot be a "Pvt"-entry in the region-segment,
this type of nodes always needs to be in a net-segment.
In my opinion Roy Witt has the following options available to him:
1) Look for a net that will have him and keep his current nodelist
information save that the one maintaining that segment needs to add
"Pvt" in front of this line;
2) He buys a modem, gets a pots-line for that modem and has the number
listed;
3) He folds his node.
Do you have an opinion on this? Thank you.
Have a nice week-end,

After Ward was finally convinced to do so by showing us his ignorance and
having to change his mind about listing them.

I see Bj”rn's as working as they should. OTH, I see Janis' as working some
of the time, but not all of the time.
Case in point is the misconfiguration of her version of Fidonews.
