JH> Well tax day has come and gone and what do we have to show for it? I

JH> So much for our government being pro entrepreneurial. Yeah, I know,
JH> have to pay Social Security And that's the mega bite out of our payc
JH> Will we even recieve any of this when we retire? I doubt it.
You left out the Estimated taxes State and Federal that is paid
through out the year. They git their hands on monies not even made yet.
The unemployment insurance that the self-employed must pay for the
employee who strives to get fired. Then there is all sorts of insurance
payments to ward off lawsuits. As for the Social security, Sen. Daniel
Monihan (sp) Dem New York is trying to pass legislation to do away with
the Soclai security tax and let people invest the money or receive the
money outright since Social security will go busted in the year 2020.
I haven't heard what would happen to the money one has paid into the
system, expecting to get some of it back later in life. Hell, that was
never the idea to git back what you put in anyway. The moneies you
receive is what is being put in by those presently being taxed. Baby
Boomers, beware the retirement promise. I do believe this mess is a
ploy of the Democrats from FDR's realm.
JH> And what about government services?
Yeah, what about them? I don't recall getting anything worth a damn
from what my family has paid into their coffers. Dufus and Owl Gump
certainly has not earned what they was paid. And with all the bennies
they receive from the prez to Congress, and the Senators, spin
doctors, lawyers, and associated crooks that got caught.
JH> We have men who seem to live their whole lives above the very laws t
JH> get sent to jail for breaking.
Jean, I do believe the trend has been set for anyone to drop their
underware and seek relief. What is good for the goose is good for the
gander. De Judge has made de rulin' on dat subject of law breaking.
Just follow de leader.
JH> We have men who will testify to the neccessity of a well prepared mi
JH> but then turn and cut the military budget and close bases.
Yep, just has been announced there is another round of base closings to
get the money to build two more aircraft carries.
JH> We have men who appear to be striving to tear down the same moral va
JH> that we are trying to instill in our children.
Jean, lets change that part about men, to the word people. We have
people tearing down moral values, both men and women. Judge Weber
Wright certainly does nothing to help prevent sexual preditors from
groaping the opposite sex. Slick is trying to drive youngsters to
smoking wacky weed instead of nicotine products via raising the price
of fags to $5.00 a pack. Anytime Slick makes a proposal that might
sound good, look for the real reason he is makeing the proposal. I can
see no reason to believe he is telling the truth in anything he says.
My thought on the Tobacco issue can back up this feeling. Raise the
price of cigarettes to $5.00 a pack, $50.00 a carton, $1,200.00 a case.
Anyone want to drive a tractor trailer load of Marlboro cigarettes
valued at over a Million dollars? Where are you gonna eat? Gonna leave
the rig and gitcha something to eat at the truck stop? Hee! Don't
think so. Truck will be gone when you git through eating. Slick's time
is limited as Prez so if'n he can get Marlboro's high enough in price,
then his drug dealing Wacky Weed Mena airport can resume business back
in Arkansas.
