When I was in Guam and Puerto Rico it didn't feel like "over seas.
Recall I did a *LOT* of traveling when I worked for the USO. Tokyo felt
"overseas" the others didn't. I wonder if had I gone to Puerto Rico
before Hawaii it might have felt different. I'll never know, but I do
know that all three of the island state/territories are absolutely
beautiful and if you got to any of those places you were a lucky guy.
