GK>Mike I am interested in your Kenwood TS-700A. Do you still have it? Can
GK>you tell me some info on it, like used by smoker, What shape is it in.
GK>How old is it, How many Watts output. 73s
Yes, I still have it. I can't say if the previous owner smoked or not.
It is in very, very good shape. I think that it was made in the early
to mid '80's. It runs 10-14 watts output on SSB. Reduced power on FM,
CW and AM modes. Has built in power supply for AC and includes both
AC and DC cables. Read-out is ANALOG, not digital. Works simplex
pr through standard split repeaters on 146 and 147 Mhz. Simplex
only on 144/145 mhz (this was mfd. before the 145 mhz standards were
adopted.) Includes original microphone and manual. Makes a great I.F.
for the ten-tec six-meter transverter on SSB.
