subject: device driver for Sound Galaxy Pro 16

Hello Sylvain,

Defect. What do you mean, irq init. (see, I am on topic)
Any drive will reset when first queried.
SL> ...if you know about the unknown switches in the driver...
I use the driver that came with the Sound Galaxy Pro 16.
                      SGCDM.SYS
 /D:devicename
 /M:nn buffers (conventional memory) [2-64]
 /X:nn buffers (extended memory) [2-64]
/T:n dma channel [0,1,3] (also, set a jumper on the soundcard)
 Also to be set on the soundcard, through software;
 set cdrom enabled,disabled
cd interface type [Mitsumi/Sony,Panasonic,both enabled, both disabled]
 mitsumi irq [11,12,15]
If you have a reply to this, let's _try_ netmail.
Again everybody, I'm trying to figure out how I can make a driver that loads
before the cdrom driver. It will set the soundcard cdrom type data.
I assume I have to output data to a port.
Where is the port? (address) What data?
Kind regards, Barry
