More tests .. I can get 28.8Kbps connections with you using Zoc (terminal
comms prog), but as soon as I use Bink (even BTPE) locked at 57.6Kbps
DCE/DTE, my max connection to you is 26.4Kbps.

Explain that one!

* Same operating system and settings.
* Same comms drivers and settings.
* Same modem and settings.
* BTPE with 57.6Kbps DCE/DTE and built-in comms routines gets 26.4Kbps.
* BTEE with 57.6Kbps DCE/DTE and MAXCOMM.DLL routines gets 26.4Kbps.
* Zoc with 38.4Kbps DCE/DTE and built-in comms routines gets 28.8Kbps.
* Zoc with 57.6Kbps DCE/DTE and built-in comms routines gets 28.8Kbps.

Bink (all of 'em) is stuffed - we're now down to a software problem, which
just might be the cause of problems at your end, too.

That was within Zoc, not Bink. Cheers..
