Hm. I have been living with WP.6 Dos,WP6.0a Dos and WP6.0b Dos. Changing from
WP6.0a to WP6.0b; WordPerfect corporation changed the checker files, in that
way that the files from 6.0 &nd 6.0a no longer were valid in 6.0b. As
registered user I obtained brand new spell-checkerfiles for my 6.0b (wich
are also valid in Wp6.1 Wind and Wp6.1 Dos & 6.2 Dos). Anyway, I do have
spellckers installed here for Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian and
German-German. And everything rins for the best.
To sum up: spell-checkers for WP5.x and WP6.x are defenitly different. And
spell-checkers for WP6.0-WP6.0a Dos are also different from
WP.60b-WP6.1-WP6.2 Dos. So, I do suggest your mothers computer-WP-settings
needs some tweacking.
A pity that your continent is rather far away from here, otherwise I am sure
I could do it myself for you :-)
Groeten uit Belgi‰
  Kris
