JM> Frank, The numbers I have seen from a tracking program indicate that
JM> almost 85% of the people are using Windows 95 or Windows 3.x or
JM> Windows NT.
FS> I now realize it's a 3Com decision to forfeit 15 percent of the
FS> market. No problem.
Of the 76.6 million OS units shipped last year, 69.4% were Windows
95, 9.2% were Windows NT Workstation, 7.7% were Windows 3.x, 4.6%
were Macintosh, 2.3% were DOS, with the remaining 7% or so for all
other environments.
FS> I use NT and OS/2 at home and NT, Win31, Digital Unix, HP Unix and
FS> SunOS/Solaris at work. Unfortunately 3Com doesn't support all my
FS> needs in either locale.
What about Geoworks or a CP/M emulator, using the NeXT operating
system, or Apple II emulator systems? A Commodore 64 running
GEOS? How about a Gemulator card in a 386+ running the Atari
operating system, GEM? And, don't forget the OS9 on all the
TRaSh-80's, Intel 80X86's and Motorola 680X0 series computers.
