Having read thru your whole note, I still wonder just what you are
asking?  It appears you want to use your DOS box for yourself still, but
hook it into such things as DSL, etc?  My resident "wizard" is likewise
not sure what you are quite asking about...

Just for the record, I'm still using a strictly DOS computer, and we
have a DSL connection which connects to all the computers in the house,
some of which are using Windows, but also including mine.  We don't have
a bbs here, though.  However, I telnet, using my machine, to a number of
different bbses around the country.  I use them just as I always have,
and I usually read and reply to my messages with my offline reader
(BlueWave).  If there's anything special in my setup to make it happen,
other than any programs that my "Wizard" has put together, I'm not aware
of it.  :)
