It has "adult mode" (nothing much, really - offer money to some
dancing girls whilst saying, "Shake it baby!" and they oblige),
as well as what look to be the beginnings of the Quake system - look
up/down, scripted game (see the external files), bullet holes in walls
(like Heretic), break glass (like Heretic), swim underwater (cool!), the
best minigun I've seen since DOOM (IMHO), and small tribute to DOOM in a
hidden room ("That's one DOOMed space marine!") .. but that
bastard at the end (level 5 of the shareware version) just *won't* die.
:-(
What else .. jet packs (fly around), "Holo Duke" (decoy), night
vision goggles, closed-circuit TV cameras (*great* for multiplayer mode!),
etc. etc.

Walk into a toilet and blow away the sink - the sink breaks and water
gushes out. ;-) Run around on a pool table knocking the balls around,
shoot glass beer bottles to pieces, etc. etc. All "nice
touches".
IMHO, it's "challenging" on my i486DX 33MHz with 8Mb RAM as in
some complex rooms Duke moves too quickly or slowly to properly target any
enemies. On the Intel Penitum 90MHz 16Mb RAM at work it's great (of
course).
ALM> What's the game like? Worth the money?
IMHO, it's like DOOM in that if you *like* going around blowing the heck
out of things and you *like* the concept of being able to play against
other human players in the process, then yes.

We have enough sample graphics floating around!! :-)
