That totally depends on how he had the system configured.  If he 
was using word as email reader, then a macro virus can due it's 
drity deed or any program that has a macro capability were the 
macros are inbeded in the document.  There are no virus for Word 
Perfect as the macro's are not stored with the document and are 
not part of the document.
