Well, duh that I am.....she was de-capping a tooth!  I thought she was all 
done with this stuff until I looked in her mouth the other day and there was 
a cap hanging by a thread.  So, I already had her saddled, and I just lunged 
her with the saddle and a halter!  The tooth is out and a nice, new one 
coming in fine underneath.  I'll have to review my "when horses lose teeth" 
information (g)!  I haven't tried the bridle in the past day or two...if the 
weather holds, I'll try again this afternoon (it's very cold and VERY windy) 
and see if that was what the problem was.  Amazing how there's ALWAYS a 
reason for horses misbehaving, isn't it!
