 I did and got it all. Mega thanks. I can see now that this modem is
 dead. The simili jumpers are for VDS cables. None here. No jumpers at
 all either. It simply says in the .pdf that it should be seen by the OS
 and after this the required drivers might be needed, or did I read
 wrong. So far, I think that this modem is dead. This is the second
 system that I try to place it in and got the same result on both tries.
