Hallo, Allan! *** Am Dienstag 09. I would recommend using the free driver xf86sup.sys by Holger Veit, which implements a method the concepts of which he has described in an EDMI article. The method used in the driver is still a bit faster than that, and it's available in source, with ready-to-use interface to C. There is awful much overhead using testcfg, since it goes through a lot of APIs checking parameters etc., and calling a segment with IOPL also needs a lot of cycles to reload registers, check privileges etc. You can get if from ftp://borneo.gmd.de/~veit/ Tschau...Thomas --- E3-32/1.11-32/2.50+* Origin: Die TeX-Box +49-6034-930021 V.34 -930022 ISDN 24h (2:244/1130.42) SEEN-BY: 50/99 270/101 620/243 625/100 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 SEEN-BY: 711/955 712/407 515 624 628 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 244/1130 24/999 888 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 934 |
