Great.

Do you want all the gadgets, or do you want the speed? If you want all the
gadgets, you're looking in the wrong direction; however, if you're looking for
optimized PM apps, you're looking in the correct direction.

PC> Does Watcom have a PM C++ Class Library included?

No. It's got the OS/2 2.0 SDK.

PC> So I'm considering Watcom as my compiler now.

Well, let's see...when it first started out, it was still an excellent
compiler, but because of its price tag ($999Cdn), there was not a lot of third
party support for it. Now, that it's cut its price, it's gathering up steam.
As you'll probably notice now, most third party developers are now supporting
Watcom with their libraries.

I've been using it since Watcom C 9.0/386 to develop OS/2 and DOS apps --- I
can't complain. It's certainly lacking in the gadgets, and compiler speed, but
be extremely bad....however, that has improved, as their
online documentation is much easier to follow than their hardcopy.
