Thats a good idea....  leave it just long enough for the tube to build

up a nice healthy charge yto zap you with ;-)

Probably a fluke...   the most common cause of no picture on these

monitors IS caused be dry joints, but not on the board connected to

the tube..  it is generally the dry joints on the Horizontal output

transformer.
